Biology Teacher Outstanding School Croydon
An Outstanding Ofstedrated secondary school in the London Borough of Croydon requires a dedicated and enthusiastic Biology Teacher to join their successful Science department. This is a fulltime permanent position teaching across Key Stages 3 4 and 5. The school is committed to fostering a deep understanding and appreciation of the living world.
Responsibilities:
The successful Biology Teacher will plan and deliver highquality engaging lessons that meet the requirements of the National Curriculum and examination specifications (GCSE and ALevel). You will create a stimulating learning environment encourage scientific inquiry particularly in biological sciences assess student progress effectively and provide constructive feedback. Contributing to the development of the Biology curriculum and collaborating within the Science team are key duties for the appointed Biology Teacher.
Requirements:
We are looking for a qualified Biology Teacher (QTS) holding a degree in Biology or a closely related subject. Proven experience teaching Biology at the secondary level including Key Stage 5 is essential. Candidates must demonstrate strong subject knowledge a passion for the biological sciences and excellent communication and classroom management skills. An inspiring Biology Teacher is sought.
