Job Description
Paralegal
Career Consulting Partners is collaborating with a successful injury law firm that offers legal representation to clients on a national scale across the United States. We are seeking a dedicated and detailoriented paralegal who is comfortable supporting a plaintiffs personal injury team throughout the litigation process in the state of Illinois.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Assist attorneys with all aspects of litigation from prefiling through trial.
- Draft and file legal documents including complaints motions discovery responses and subpoenas.
- Coordinate depositions medical examinations and other litigationrelated appointments.
- Review organize and summarize medical records discovery and other case documents.
- Prepare and maintain case files calendaring deadlines and court dates.
- Manage client communication and provide regular case updates.
- Assist with trial preparation including the preparation of trial binders and exhibits
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3 years of litigation paralegal experience in personal injury (plaintiff side preferred).
- Strong understanding of California civil litigation procedures and court rules.
- Proficient in legal software (e.g. Filevine SmartAdvocate or similar case management systems).
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
- Empathetic and clientfocused with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- A proactive team player with a problemsolving mindset.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
- Compensation Range: $70000.00 $85000.00
