Career Consulting Partners is collaborating with a successful injury law firm that offers legal representation to clients on a national scale across the United States. We are seeking a dedicated and detailoriented paralegal who is comfortable supporting a plaintiffs personal injury team throughout the litigation process in the state of Illinois.
REQUIREMENTS:
Assist attorneys with all aspects of litigation from prefiling through trial.
Draft and file legal documents including complaints motions discovery responses and subpoenas.
Coordinate depositions medical examinations and other litigationrelated appointments.
Review organize and summarize medical records discovery and other case documents.
Prepare and maintain case files calendaring deadlines and court dates.
Manage client communication and provide regular case updates.
Assist with trial preparation including the preparation of trial binders and exhibits
QUALIFICATIONS:
3 years of litigation paralegal experience in personal injury (plaintiff side preferred).
Strong understanding of California civil litigation procedures and court rules.
Proficient in legal software (e.g. Filevine SmartAdvocate or similar case management systems).
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to multitask work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
Empathetic and clientfocused with strong written and verbal communication skills.
A proactive team player with a problemsolving mindset.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
Compensation Range: $70000.00 $85000.00
