Job Description

Description
We are looking for an experienced and strategic and nbsp;Senior Data Analyst and nbsp;to join our Data and amp; Analytics team. This is not your average data role it requires a highperforming individual with deep expertise in working across complex data ecosystems particularly within the and nbsp;Microsoft Azure platform. You will serve as a critical link between business units data engineers architects and governance teams driving clarity in requirements managing stakeholder relationships at all levels and ensuring successful implementation of enterprisewide data initiatives.
This role is ideal for someone with a strong track record in delivering and nbsp;endtoend data solutions orchestrating and nbsp;largescale change requests and proactively identifying opportunities to streamline data processes and drive strategic outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Business and amp; Data Alignment
- Act as a data strategist and trusted advisor to senior business stakeholders translating business goals into data requirements and actionable solutions.
- Lead discovery sessions and stakeholder interviews to deeply understand business drivers KPIs and analytical needs across departments.
Data Mapping and amp; Azure Ecosystem Leadership
- Lead the mapping of complex data flows across Azure components including and nbsp;Azure Data Factory and nbsp;Azure Synapse Analytics and nbsp;Data Lake and and nbsp;SQL Databases.
- Work closely with data architects to ensure business requirements are aligned with data models pipelines and architectural standards.
- Develop and maintain robust documentation including data lineage flow diagrams and interface mapping.
Change Request and amp; Implementation Governance
- Own the lifecycle of highimpact change requests: from impact analysis and prioritization through to deployment and postimplementation review.
- Collaborate with product owners developers QA teams and DevOps to ensure changes are implemented with minimal disruption.
- Manage change control boards sprint planning sessions and delivery timelines for data platform initiatives.
Data Governance Quality and Compliance
- Partner with data governance and compliance teams to ensure data solutions adhere to enterprise standards privacy policies and security frameworks.
- Define data quality metrics and collaborate on anomaly detection and resolution processes.
Advanced Data Analysis and amp; Reporting
- Conduct highvalue data investigations and complex queries across structured and unstructured datasets.
- Deliver advanced dashboards and reporting solutions in and nbsp;Power BI ensuring consistent performance reliability and stakeholder satisfaction.
- Provide insights and recommendations to executive stakeholders using robust analytical storytelling.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Data Science Computer Science Information Systems or a related technical discipline.
- 6 years and nbsp;of experience in data analysis business analysis or analytics consulting within enterprise environments.
- Proven experience working with and nbsp;Azure data services and nbsp;at scale with strong familiarity with data pipelines transformation layers and storage components.
- Advanced proficiency in and nbsp;SQL and nbsp;Power BI
- Demonstrated success in managing and nbsp;complex data projects including multistakeholder coordination technical translation and delivery oversight.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with and nbsp;Agile methodologies sprint planning and backlog management (e.g. Azure DevOps Jira).
- Certifications in Azure Data Fundamentals
