This site is preparing for a pivotal transformation. The Production Manager will lead key initiatives including the rollout of the Operational Excellence System (OES) and a comprehensive AOT/Safety Culture Transformation. This role exists to ensure performance safety and quality standards are consistently met while coaching teams through a critical season of change. Success in this position means keeping production running efficiently today while laying the groundwork for a stronger safer and more disciplined operation tomorrow.
Lead OES Deployment Oversee implementation of Operational Excellence System tools and mindset throughout the facility ensuring accountability and impact.
Advance Safety Culture Drive the AOT/Safety Culture Transformation by modeling high standards reinforcing behavioral expectations and embedding safety practices into all plant routines.
Maximize Operational Performance Use data from QAD and other systems to evaluate cost center efficiency reduce s manage raw material consumption and improve delivery performance.
Coach and Develop Leaders Support supervisors and hourly teams through structured coaching feedback loops and performance reviews that reinforce both accountability and growth.
Collaborate for Results Align with maintenance QA and crossfunctional leadership to maintain quality and resolve customer or production challenges with speed and clarity.
Drive Continuous Improvement Identify improvements across manpower equipment and process flow; execute solutions that increase output and reduce waste.

Must have served in the U.S. Army Navy Marine Corps Air Force Coast Guard Space Force Reserves or National Guard.
10 years of experience in manufacturing including 4 years in a senior supervisory or management role
Strong knowledge of production systems equipment planning and cost control
Excellent communication skills capable of influencing across departments and leadership levels
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and production tools (e.g. QAD MRP SAP)
Ability to work in a physical manufacturing environment (standing lifting etc.
Background in ceramics refractories or a similar heavy manufacturing environment
Experience with Lean or continuous improvement methodologies
Track record of implementing or supporting safety culture initiatives
