Reporting to the Accountant the position is responsible for helping in the preparation of budgets financial reports and generation of quotations and invoices. The job holder is also responsible for ensuring that adequate financial and accounting records are maintained.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Prepare full set of Financial Statements
Preparing petty cash vouchers and recording them in PASTEL to ensure accurate recording and reconciliation.
Creating invoices and quotations for clients ensuring all financial documents are accurate and delivered promptly.
Addressing any discrepancies related to quotations or invoices by liaising with relevant departments or clients to ensure swift resolution.
Collaborating in the preparation of monthly financial reports providing necessary data and insights to support financial analysis.
Performing regular bank reconciliations to ensure consistency between the companys records and bank statements.
Employing accounting packages such as Pastel to maintain accurate financial records and facilitate efficient operations.
Performs any other duties as assigned by the supervisor from time to time.

Minimum Qualifications:
Diploma in Accountancy or financial management
Part or a complete Level of ACCA or equivalent is an added advantage
Experience:
1 to 3 years of professional experience in accounting.
Experience using Pastel QuickBooks or similar software
