Job Description
The Rail work is a container operation and will involve moving curtain sided containers in and out of ESL rail terminals throughout the UK. It will also include loading and unloading at our customer sites. Skeletal trailer training and curtain sided box training will be provided.
Day shifts available:
- MondayFriday 06:00am08:00am start window.
- TuesdaySaturday 06:00am start.
Night shifts available:
- MondayFriday 18:00pm start.
- FridaySunday 18:00pm20:00pm start window.
- TuesdayFriday 16:00pm start.
- SundayThursday 20:00pm start.
Salary:
- MonFri Days 13.50 per hour (including Meal allowance).
- MonFri Night Shift 14.90 per hour (including Meal allowance).
- Saturday and Sunday Day Shift 17.00 per hour (including Meal allowance).
- Saturday and Sunday Night Shift 17.50 per hour (including Meal allowance).
- Bank Holidays 17.81 per hour (including Meal allowance).
Qualifications :
- You will need 6 months Class 1 experience.
- You should hold a valid HGV 1/CE Licence DCPC & Tacho Card.
- No more than 6 points on your Licence with no DD/ DR Code convictions.
- Understand and able to comply with Drivers hours and WTD legislation.
- Able to understand and carry out necessary vehicle checks to ensure vehicle safety and able to report defects correctly.
- Should comply with onsite health and safety requirements.
- Excellent communication skills.
