Job Description
Job Title: Process Planner Integrated Product Team (IPT)
Summary:
- Develops evaluates and improves manufacturing methods.
- Creates manufacturing shop orders in accordance with established procedures.
- Correctly reads and interprets complex engineering drawings specifications and processes.
- Integrates customer supplied engineering specifications and purchase order requirements into ERP system.
- Confers with management and other staff regarding manufacturing capabilities production schedules and other considerations to facilitate production process and to Identify and resolve issues.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: Other duties may be assigned.
- Professional and courteous at all times. Obtain the highest customer satisfaction by providing timely support and clear professional communications. Work with production team members to adjust or clarify contractual obligations and scheduled delivery dates when necessary.
- Ability to multitask to ensure timely completion of project requirements.
- Support production team members to ensure product will comply and satisfy specific customer requirements.
- Identify risks that impact delivery commitments and support production team members with mitigation planning.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office with special emphasis on Excel. Knowledge of internet search programs manufacturing software (ERP) order processing systems and project management software.
Qualifications :
Education and/or Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Manufacturing environment experience interpreting and using military standards and reference materials such as MIL Standards ASTM Industry specifications customer specifications and other industry standards preferred.
Physical Demands
Time is balanced between a sitting position in front of a computer or in meetings and a walking or standing position when interfacing with other departments. Occasionally lifting and/or moving of objects <25 pounds.
