Job Description
Position Overview:
Were seeking a highly strategic and datasavvy leader to join our team as Senior Director Strategic Analytics. In this role youll serve as a critical thought partner to executive leadership using analytics to drive business strategy unlock growth opportunities and inform decisions across the organization.
Youll lead a talented team focused on uncovering trends in audience behavior content performance platform engagement and revenue drivers across our digital and linear ecosystems. The ideal candidate is a selfstarter with a proactive mindset able to identify opportunities prioritize highimpact work and operate with autonomy in a fastpaced evolving environment turning complex data into clear actionable recommendations that move the business forward.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with senior executives to identify key questions shape hypotheses and deliver datadriven insights that inform corporate strategy growth planning and business optimization.
- Build and lead a highperforming analytics team; mentor and develop talent while fostering a culture of curiosity collaboration and impact.
- Proactively identify opportunities for business growth cost reduction and operational efficiency through datadriven analysis.
- Lead efforts to gather external market data and benchmark performance against industry trends to support strategic planning.
- Define and track core marketplace health metrics flagging risks and surfacing opportunities for optimization.
- Develop predictive models to guide strategic planning market expansion and performance forecasting.
- Utilize a range of qualitative and quantitative research methods (e.g. surveys competitive benchmarking market analysis firstparty behavioral data) to develop strategic frameworks and business cases that support strategic initiatives
- Translate complex analytical findings into compelling narratives and presentations for Csuite and board audiences.
Qualifications :
- 8 years of experience in analytics strategy or business intelligence with at least 35 years in a leadership or directorlevel role.
- Proven track record of driving impact through strategic analytics in a complex datarich environment (e.g. tech media finance or consulting).
- Strong expertise in media analytics including multiplatform measurement (linear TV streaming mobile web OTT etc. and viewer behavior analysis audience segmentation content performance churn prediction
- Expertise in advanced analytics techniques (forecasting regression clustering A/B testing) and tools (SQL Python/R Tableau etc..
- Selfstarter and strategic thinker with a consultative approach capable of identifying opportunities framing the problem and driving toward solutions with minimal direction.
- Strong business acumen and comfort engaging with executive stakeholders across diverse business domains.
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills able to distill complex analysis into clear persuasive insights.
- Bachelors or Masters degree in a quantitative or business field (e.g. Economics Data Science Statistics Engineering MBA).
- Prior experience in management consulting or corporate strategy roles highly preferred
Additional Requirements:
Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week. Subject to change based on Manager discussion or business need.
This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits including medical dental and vision insurance 401(k) paid leave tuition reimbursement and a variety of other discounts and perks.
