Our Accounting team in Brazil is expanding and were looking for a Payments Specialist to join us in Brazil. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about numbers eager to take ownership and ready to thrive in a fastgrowing international and fun environment.
Your Mission:
Prepare approve and release vendor invoices IC tax treasury and other internal payments in line with agreed standards and processes.
Record all movements on internal bank accounts.
Being part of month end tasks.
Investigate and resolve issues related to payment processing.
Manage queries via email Slack and Jira.
Prepare bank account reconciliations.
Assist in providing documentation for internal and external audits.
Contribute to continuous improvements in our payment processes.
Mentoring newbies/new team members
Support team lead with projects
Risks and controls.
Qualifications :
What Were Looking For:
Ability to work autonomously make decisions and take initiative.
Experience in processing payments.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Cooperative mindset with the ability to meet deadlines.
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
Understanding of core accounting principles
