What youll do 

• Sketch design build analyze validate and refine robust mechanical and electromechanical designs for low volumes through mass productionon paper through physical prototyping and in 3D CAD. 

• Engage in and support business development. 

• Collaborate within crossdisciplinary teams to conduct research brainstorm prototype test analyze document and present work to clients. 

Qualifications :

What you bring to the table 

• BS or MS in mechanical engineering or a related field and 6 years experience in an engineering or designrelated industry. 

• Experience solving tough problems within one or more of the following areas: mechatronics structural design dynamics thermal engineering fluid dynamics optics controls acoustics precision mechanical systems product engineering and design for manufacturing. A broad range is a plus.  

• Proficiency with 3D modeling CAD (Solidworks preferred) and engineering analysis tools (Python MatLab FEA tools etc).

In compliance with Colorados New York & Massachusettss Equal Pay Transparency Act PA is required to provide a reasonable salary range for this role.  This salary range is specific to the State of Massachusetts and is commensurate with experience market data applicant skills internal equity and/or degrees/certifications.  Salary Range: Low: $ 135900 High: $157400
