Description

Additional Information: This hotel is owned and operated by an independent franchisee Westin Anaheim Resort. The franchisee is a separate company and a separate employer from Marriott International Inc. The franchisee solely controls all aspects of the hotels employment policies and practices including hiring firing discipline staffing compensation benefits and all other terms and conditions of employment. If you accept a position at this hotel you will be employed by a franchisee and not by Marriott International Inc.

The Corporate Revenue Manager will work with the Corporate Director of Revenue Management and Director of Revenue Management for the Westin to provide analytic and support functions for revenue management responsibilities for hotel portfolio as well as assisting in supervising the reservations call center. The associate will assist revenue management leadership by providing support with reporting requirements forecasts rate adjustments rate offer creation system maintenance. The position requires a high level of attention to detail and the ability to multitask. Must be proficient in Marriott Revenue Management Systems Amadeus Ihotelier products Opera PMS and Ideas G3 RMS.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Support hotels revenue management yield efforts via analysis and reporting that ensure that all segments and distribution channels are mined for revenue opportunities based on budget forecast pace and market demand.

Maximize revenue potential and ensure proactive and accurate maintenance and management of all internal and external systems/sites including brand systems and external websites. Troubleshooting issues with support partners.

Support Revenue Management leadership in compiling and communicating all documents reports and presentations required by ownership and hotel.

Collaborating with the sales marketing and revenue strategy leaders to ensure revenue capture efforts are streamlined.

Responsible for implementation of revenue management policies and procedures.

Assist with the implementation and of hotel sales strategy pricing recommendations and inventory management across all channels.

Analyze the dynamics of the local market events providing feedback on opportunities and updating revenue tools/systems as necessary.

Complete rate loading/mapping as necessary and ensure BRG compliance with brand standards.

Monitor wholesale pickup and send stopsells to clients.

Monitor availability and ensure strategies are executed to maximize room type efficiency.

Assist in preparing short and longterm forecasts.

Maintains knowledge of all room rate offerings such as discounts and packages that the hotel offers. Communicate new rooms offers and packages to property teams.

Attends all scheduled meetings and training and contributes actively with proper preparation

Strong ability to multitask when needed as well as efficiency in the operating of multiple computer programs at a given time.

Maximize efforts towards productivity identify problem areas and assist in implementing solutions

Must be able to understand and evaluate complex data sets from various sources to provide a detailed analysis of performance and trends.

Must be able to maintain the confidentiality of information.

Bring to the attention to the property team when the hotel availability status needs to be changed and prepare for necessary action.

Prepare reports and the revenue packet for Weekly Revenue Strategy Meetings and help lead meetings.

Upload hotel data to BudgeTools and M3 Insight for hotel forecasting.

Ensure hotel strategies confirm to brands philosophies and initiatives.

Follow up with group sales team on room block pickup.

Review reservation booked and arrival reports daily.

Provide support to the reservations team when needed and assist in providing managerial support.

Review noshow and cancelled reservations and processes charges according to hotels policy

In general perform any other duties might requested by revenue management leadership.

Complete daily pickup reports and track production from Opera and MRDW.

Submit STR Report data weekly.

Assist in budget process and help provide analysis on monthly P&Ls.

Monitor Group Blocks and Group Projections in CITY for accuracy. Report errors to sales and events team.

Work with Front Desk team to push for perfect sells when applicable and increasing ancillary revenues.

Provide managerial support to the corporate reservations department when needed.

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

Must effectively communicate verbally and written with all employees and guests in an attentive friendly and serviceoriented manner.

Must be effective in listening to understanding and clarifying concerns raised by employees and clients.

Must be able to multitask and prioritize departmental functions and meet deadlines.

Become trained in One Yield Ideas G3 RMS Opera Ihotelier Empower BudgeTools Rate 360 & Demand360 systems.

Experience and Education:

Minimum of two years hotel experience preferred and one year of Revenue Management experience.

Marriott One Yield Certified required. Ideas G3 RMS Amadeus Products and Opera PMS experience strongly preferred.

Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel Word and PowerPoint.

Ability to work in high pressure and highstress environment.

Superior time management skills.

Must be able to communicate proficiently in the English language both written and verbally.

High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelors Degree in Hospitality or other businessrelated degree preferred.

Must be flexible in terms of working hours and schedules

The salary for this position is $95000.
