Job Description

Our Integrated Child Sexual Exploitation and Child Criminal Exploitation service works with children & young people who are experiencing or at risk of Child Sexual Exploitation (CSE) or Child Criminal Exploitation (CCE).  

The Regional Manager role has responsibility for the operational management of Catch22s West Mercia Child Exploitation Service in one of the 4 delivery areas Worcester Shropshire Herefordshire and Telford & Wrekin. 

We have 2 Regional Manager roles available one will be based in Shropshire and another in Herefordshire. 

This role involves leading a team overseeing service delivery managing partnerships with key stakeholders and ensuring compliance with safeguarding contractual and organisational standards. 

Main Duties & Accountabilities

  • Recruiting motivating coaching and developing a staff team including carrying out annual appraisals regular supervision meetings and managing staff health safety and wellbeing. Maintaining professional knowledge and competencies within the team to ensure that all work is completed in compliance with required frameworks.
  • Ensuring that all service user information interventions and other required data is recorded appropriately. Undertaking weekly reviews of service data to identify outcome performance and service delivery risks and implementing corrective actions such as service improvements or process changes.
  • As the designated safeguarding lead managing operational risk health and safety governance and safeguarding issues in line with policies and processes and representing Catch22 on local safeguarding boards where appropriate.
  • Managing stakeholder engagement to promote the service and generate appropriate referrals monitoring and allocating referrals to the service ensuring that caseload management structures are in place including specialist female and mental health caseloads to maximise impact for young people.
  • Ensuring that the diverse needs and aspirations of all groups of service users are considered in service delivery and to enable all service users to fulfil their potential.
  • Where necessary holding a small caseload of highrisk clients ensuring that appropriate support is given to young people according to their need who are referred by means of effective assessment and support planning.
  • Liaising effectively with local partner organisations and other relevant agencies to ensure effective referrals care and risk management as well as ease of transition and referral for young people and to promote the continued joint work of the service and other partners. Attend relevant meetings or delegate to the most appropriate caseworker to ensure Catch22s service is fully integrated with other services.
  • Attending relevant meetings working with service delivery partners to identify other professionals statutory and nonstatutory stakeholders to include in service training offer to improve awareness and impact of support for women and girls. 
  • Contribute as an active member of the senior management team attending meetings and training events as necessary.

Qualifications :

Qualifications

  • A relevant qualification or equivalent experience in a relevant discipline such as youth community health and social care management.
  • Basic ICT skills with experience of using recording and data collation systems.
  • Knowledge of engagement and intervention strategies.
  • A Management qualification NVQ3/5 Health and Social Care. (Desireable)


Additional Information :

Contract: Permanent

Hours: Full time 37 Hours per week

Salary: 40509 (FTE)

Location: Office based with national travel to regional offices (Worcester Shropshire Herefordshire and Telford & Wrekin)

Shropshire Office Grovenor House Battlefield Enterprise Park Shrewsbury SY1 3AB.

Herefordshire Office The Kindle Centre Belmont Road Herefordshire HR2 7JE.
