Description
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and organised Warehouse Manager to take the lead in managing our Warehouse Team to ensure all activities are carried out to the highest safety quality and operational standards.
Overseeing our talented warehouse team you must have strong leadership skills and the ability to ensure our team members are engaged and motivated to deliver our company objectives and act in alignment with our company values.
Reporting directly to the Head of Supply Chain the Warehouse Manager will deliver ongoing improvements and efficiency enhancements to our internal and external warehouse operations by optimising infrastructure processes and resources to build our future warehouse network catering for current and future needs of the business.
Skills And Experiences
Role Requirements:
- Bachelors degree/diploma in Supply Chain Logistics or Warehouse Management or significant experience in managing Warehousing and Logistics operations in a FMCG or similar environment
- Demonstrated ability to build team engagement through strong value driven leadership supported by effective and professional communication at all levels
- Proactive and a strong ability to implement process improvements
- Experience in coaching and training of others including coordinating and delegating work programs
- Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team use initiative and work without direct supervision
- Strong administrative skills a high level of attention to detail and a strong level of computer literacy in relevant systems including the operation and implementation of Warehouse Management Systems
- Experience with MRP/DRP principles and working within these systems
- Experience with Warehouse Automation application and implementations
- Current drivers licence
- Current HighRisk Forklift Licence (desirable).
