Job Description

- Shape HR strategy during the launch and operations of a new hospital.

THE POSITION
Mobilisation Phase:
- Assist with workforce transition recruitment and onboarding.
- Support the development and delivery of training programs.
- Help create position descriptions and communication strategies for transitioning employees.
- Collaborate with People Support to implement record management systems.
- Ensure compliance with safety processes and culture.
- Manage logistics for interviews training and onboarding.
Operational Phase:
- Handle investigations complaints and ensure policy adherence.
- Coach and mentor managers on performance management and HR processes.
- Act as the first point of contact for Union inquiries.
- Oversee performance reviews training administration and audit compliance.
- Support recruitment for talent attraction strategies and maintain staff pipelines.
- Provide HR support resolve employee queries and lead safety initiatives.
- Manage workers comp claims and HRrelated systems (PageUp Deputy CHESS).
THE PERSON
- Minimum of 5 years generalist HR experience ideally in bluecollar or healthcare environments.
- Strong administrative skills and attention to detail.
- Proven experience coaching and mentoring managers.
- Tertiary qualifications in HR or a related field are highly desirable.
- Willingness to obtain a National Police Check Clearance and provide proof of immunity for vaccine preventable diseases.
Experience within a healthcare environment is highly desirable.
