Washington State Parks and Recreation Commissionis looking to fill one full time Construction Project Coordinator 4 position at Parks headquarters located in Lacey Washington. Working hours are Monday Friday from 8:00am 5:00pm with the option for teleworking. This work will be in an office environment requiring travel and working outdoors up to 15 of the time.

This position leads the agencys statewide facilities management program including work planning monitoring program performance recommending and administering program budgets and supervising program staff. The incumbent will be responsible for developing and administering a comprehensive system for continually assessing the condition and function of state park structures landscapes and supporting utility and transportation infrastructure and prescribing the most costeffective measures for their care. Provides technical support to operations and maintenance managers on facilities management best practices and assists with identifying scoping estimating costs and preparing planned and preventative maintenance plans and operating budget requests.The Construction Project Coordinator 4has a significant role in the administration of the agency Facility Portfolio Management at the state level. This is the program run by the Office of Financial Management which requires that agencies document all facilities under their purview to assess and document condition and infrastructure longevity that includes park structures landscapes supporting utilities and transportation infrastructures. The work performed in the ongoing assessments ties directly to the development of priorities for capital budget dollars and adheres to the state law requirement for facility life cycle cost modeling.

Duties include but are not limited to:
Facilities inventory assessment reporting and management planning:
Manage select capital projects:
Facilitate development of agencywide standards and processes:
REQUIRED EDUCATION EXPERIENCE SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Seven 7 years of experience in facilities management and five 5 years of experience in construction project management.
OR
Option #2A bachelors degree in construction management Architecture Engineering Landscape Architecture Park Planning/Design or a closely allied degree AND
Five 5 years of experience in facility management and three 3 years of experience in construction project management.
And
Valid drivers license free of any restrictions except for vision.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Three 3 years experience in public sector management.
One 1 year in program management.
Proficient in Project Management ArcGIS Online FPMT CBS and Enterprise reports for OFM Facility reporting and data management.
Experience in budget management and experience developing a capital budget.
Supervisory experience.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
