Department Overview
CHA is an 83yearold volunteer nonprofit organization that raises funds to support the health care related needs of children and their families at Childrens Hospitals and Clinics of Minnesota (Childrens Minnesota). CHA has a rich history of facilitating leading edge care for children and helping to establish Childrens Minnesota as a national leader in pediatric health has donated over $21 million to Childrens Minnesota over the course of its history and is the largest cumulative donor to Childrens Minnesota. Many of the programs and research projects CHA sponsors are ongoing and depend on CHA funding to continue.
Childrens Hospital Association is an independent 501(c)3 organization but is closely affiliated with Childrens Minnesota and receives some administrative services from Childrens Minnesota including Human Resources.
Position Summary
The CHA Development Associate is part of the Childrens Hospital Association Team reporting to the Executive Director. In this role the Associate will provide operational and project support as directed including data collection analysis and production of donor materials such as donor reports presentations and marketing materials. They will also play an important role in supporting the delivery of fundraising and engagement activities with key donors and therefore must have the ability to provide high touch hospitality and customer service to key supporters. This individual will work independently and autonomously.
This role requires being onsite in the metro area for donor meetings and events.
