Were looking for a motivated and detailoriented Junior PLC Technician to join our team and support automation and controls projects in various industrial settings. This role offers strong growth potential handson learning and great benefitsincluding a company truck gas card and more.
Responsibilities:
Assist with the programming testing and troubleshooting of PLC systems (e.g. AllenBradley Siemens)
Help with HMI/SCADA development and support
Participate in fieldwork including installation commissioning and maintenance of automation systems
Read and interpret wiring diagrams schematics and technical documentation
Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to ensure smooth project
Maintain accurate documentation of systems and work performed
Participate in a rotating oncall schedule every other weekend to support urgent service needs
Requirements:
2 3 years of handson experience with PLCs or completion of relevant training/certification program
Basic knowledge of ladder logic and industrial automation systems
Familiarity with electrical panels and lowvoltage control systems
Ability to troubleshoot control systems and follow technical documentation
Strong communication and team collaboration skills
Willingness to travel locally for onsite work
Preferred Qualifications:
Associates degree or technical certification in Electrical Engineering Automation or related field
Exposure to HMI/SCADA systems and platforms
Experience with AllenBradley Siemens or similar systems
