POSITION OVERVIEW

The Quality Control inspector is responsible for ensuring products meet specific quality standards by inspecting testing and evaluating materials and finished products. They document findings communicate issues and recommend process improvements. Quality Control Inspectors also use a variety of tools including measuring devices and electronic equipment to assess product quality.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Inspects in process and finished products for completion and quality levels.
  • Inspects products and incoming materials using standard measuring tools for accuracy.
  • Reconciles final inspection documentation for shipments.
  • Interacts with source inspector as needed.
  • Develops and/or adapts inspection equipment to meet quality control standards makes suggestions with regard to procedures standards and equipment to facilitate work and maintains product quality.
  • Analyzes facts or circumstances surrounding individual problems to determine what action should be taken within the limits of standard practices.
  • Investigates and determines cause of faulty work and consults and advises production supervisors as to corrective measures.
  • Conducts random product checks (OOBI) OutofBox Inspections
  • Other duties added by Line Leaders and Management

SKILLS EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION

13 years minimum of experience in quality control/quality assurance function in manufacturing environment.

High School Diploma/G.E.D. (General Education Diploma) or equivalent

Gaming industry experience a plus

Technical Capacity

Experience with lean manufacturing desired 6S to Success Lean Workplace (Sort Set Shine Standardize Sustain and Safety)

Excellent attention to detail

Problem solving and analytical skills

Good verbal and written communication

Good teamwork and collaboration

Basic computer and math skills to calibrate and measure specifications

Must be able to bend climb stairs and continuously stand or walk 75 of the time

Able to lift 25 lbs. consistently and up to 50 lbs. occasionally.

Shifts may include overtime and occasional weekend work
