Were helping a fastgrowing mechanical contractor in San Diego find their next Project Manager specializing in commercial federal and industrial HVAC projects across Southern California. As a Project Manager youll take the lead on fullcycle project deliveryfrom preconstruction through closeout. Youll work closely with clients contractors field teams and internal stakeholders to ensure safety schedule budget and quality all stay on point.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage multiple HVAC/mechanical projects ranging from $500K to $10M
Develop and maintain project schedules budgets and documentation
Coordinate with field superintendents and subcontractors to ensure efficient
Communicate clearly and proactively with clients consultants and vendors
Drive RFI and submittal processes
Monitor job cost reports and project forecasts
Lead project meetings and ensure action items are addressed
Ensure all work complies with safety standards local codes and contract specifications
5 years of experience in mechanical/HVAC project management on projects over $3M in sizde
Strong understanding of HVAC systems ductwork piping and controls
Proven ability to manage budgets timelines and field coordination
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Salary range: $100000$150000 depending on experience
