Position Summary The intern will assist in optimizing wet compression performance across units to improve water usage efficiency. Responsibilities include supporting engineering projects such as fuel nozzle rainbow test followups and the development of new WSPA skids. The role also involves troubleshooting unit performance issues to enhance overall operational effectiveness. Required Qualifications - Sophomore or higher with at least one year of coursework enrolled in Engineering with an interest in Gas Turbine systems.
- Must read write and speak fluent English.
- Proficient in the use of MS Office Suite programs.
- US work authorization is a precondition of employment. The company will not consider candidates who require sponsorship for a workauthorized visa.
- Successful candidate will need to satisfactorily complete preemployment drug screen and background check
Desired Qualifications - Completed coursework in mechanical engineering including Fluid Mechanics Thermodynamics and Finite Element Method.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical fabrication/assembly drawings and technical manuals.
- Strong problemsolving skills with the ability to analyze and resolve issues logically and effectively.
- Fundamental knowledge of instrumentation such as pressure transmitters RTD solenoid valves.
- Experience with industrial codes including UL CSA and CRN.
