PRIMARY JOBFUNCTION: |
Setup repair and maintain Ringtwisters Cable Twisters Winders Quillers Hot Melt Lex Eltex and perform PM as scheduled.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: |
1 | * | Setup repair maintain Ringtwisters Cable Twisters Winders Quillers HotMelt Lex and Eltex machines according to setup specifications. |
2 | * | Diagnose and repair machine conditions that affect yarn quality. |
3 | * | Program AR39 computers. |
4 | * | Change travelers as needed. |
5 | * | Lubricate machinery as scheduled. |
6 | * | Perform scheduled PM on equipment. |
7 | | Advise management on parts inventory problems. |
8 | | Maintain control charts on machines and adjust settings as needed. |
9 | | Perform general housekeeping as needed. |
10 | | Maintain and repair Eltex Vacuum System equipment. |
11 | | Receive steam as required and bill raw and finished yarns. |
12 | * | Diagnose operator flags and repair as needed. |
13 | * | Check yarn denier LOI and make mirror boards. |
14 | | Working with product development area develop new yarn configurations and characteristics. |
15 | | Develop new setup sheets from settings required in Number 14. |
16 | | Print setup sheets and yarn labels using PC and printer in office. |
17 | | Fill out deviation from setup forms and followup logbook when deviation from setup is necessary. |
18 | * | Measure and mix size for Lex machines check percent solids. |
19 | | Load and set yarn dryers and steamers. |

PREREQUISITES: |
Basic skills in reading writing and math. Successful completion of Mechanical Aptitude Test. |
MANDATORY QUALIFICATIONS: |
Fluent in reading writing and math skills. Accurately measure and read measuring devices in the department. Must pass Industrial Lift Truck. Must have 20/40 correctable eyesight. |
ASSESSMENTS: |
Medical color perception. Mechanical Aptitude Evaluation.
