The Opportunity:
Kickstart your consulting career with NGH as a Biodiversity Consultant based in either Sydney or Wagga. Youll be part of a supportive team working on highimpact projects that make a real difference to local environments. This role offers handson experience in fieldwork technical reporting and client collaborationperfect for earlycareer professionals ready to apply their ecological knowledge and grow in a purposedriven organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Biodiversity Consultant youll support the successful delivery of biodiversity components across a range of projects. This includes planning and coordinating fieldwork contributing to technical assessments and reporting liaising with clients and stakeholders and ensuring work is completed on time within scope and budget. Youll also assist with proposals provide input into project planning and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver practical solutionsfocused outcomes.
What we are looking for:
A degree in ecology environmental science or a related discipline
A foundational understanding of Commonwealth and NSW biodiversity legislation
Strong written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail
A proactive solutionsfocused mindset and the ability to work collaboratively
A genuine interest in fieldwork and the practical application of ecological knowledge
Emerging experience in consulting field surveys or reporting (through work or study)
The ability to manage time effectively and contribute to project delivery
A current drivers licence and willingness to travel for fieldwork as required
