Position/Title: MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN
Location/Department: Wisconsin Division Deerfield
Reports to: Maintenance Leadership
Rate of Pay: $36.00 per hour to start
Shifts: 3rd shift w/ $2.00 shift differential
- DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Follow all safety procedures & guidelines. Report all unsafe conditions and/or violations to supervisory personnel no preventable accidents
- Maintain personal attendance & punctuality in good standing per WF standards
- Accurately fill out all applicable paperwork per requirements
- Follow all other company policies and procedures
- Perform all assigned tasks per procedures such as:
- Repairing overhauling and maintaining conveyors pumps exhaust fans hydrualics and blowers and overhead cranes
- Replacing electric motors
- Performing preventative maintenance inspections including visual inspection and diagnostics optical alignments/laster transits and fabrications (sheet metal guards/rails)
- Interpreting and managing documents and prints
- Maintain machines and equipment
- Perform installations of machines and equipment
- Troubleshoot equipment problems
- Design and fabricate equipment
- Perform basic machining assignments as needed
- Maintain and repair building and grounds
- Perform plumbing and pipefitting operations
- Troubleshooting hydraulics and pneumatics to include repairing and rebuilding compressors pumps valves cylinders and actuators and piping tubing and hosing
- Maintain job related inventory and tools
- Perform basic carpentry functions
- Perform preventative maintenance functions
- Assist and perform electrical duties as assigned
- Train other personnel as required

- Willingness to work various shifts
III. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- HVAC experience
- Hydraulic experience a must
- Pneumatic experience
- Preventative maintenance system experience
- Welding experience
- Basic electrical experience
- Pipefitting experience
- Awareness of surroundings and regard for safety
- Strong sense of responsibility
- Ability to work independently and also within a team environment
- Continuous technical training in field
- Experience maintaining shop/parts inventory
- Meet the physical requirements of the Mechanic trainee
- Ability to distinguish colors (can not be color blind)
- ADDITIONAL TRAINING REQUIREMENTS
- Coursework and/or equipment training that is provided internally and/or externally as required by the company and/or individuals needs
- Customer course work as necessary based upon the individuals experience and/or past training
