Job Description

Value Added Distributors is looking for a driven hardworking and enthusiastic PartTime Shipping & Receiving Inventory Associate to join our team of experts at our Shawano WI location. The flexible work schedule for the position is between the hours of Monday through Friday from 7:00am 5:00pm. Approximately 20 hours per week with a minimum of a 4 hour shift. The starting salary is $15.00 per hour. This position reports to the Production Manager and will assist in the day to day inventory control activities.

Essential Job Duties/Responsibilities for the Shipping & Receiving Inventory Associate:

  • Stocking incoming products onto shelves.
  • Picking and pulling of parts for customer orders with a high level of accuracy.
  • Cycle counting.
  • Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records and flow of product to the production floor.
  • Pull and deliver the product to the proper inventory location department or personnel.
  • Support continuous improvement and quality objectives.
  • Adhere to established company policies and procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications for the Shipping & Receiving Inventory Associate:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Attention to detail: Accuracy counts.
  • Experience entering data into computers.
  • Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
  • Ability to use and read tape measures and digital calipers.
  • Ability to work quickly high degree of accuracy and independently in a fastpaced environment.
