Salary: Level A $83468 $113262 p.a. plus 17 super (PhD entry level $105518 p.a.

As a Clinical Educator youll play a pivotal role in shaping the next generation of teachers. Youll support teacher candidates through their professional experience placements ensuring they develop the skills needed to meet Australian Professional Standards. Youll have the opportunity to contribute to curriculum design deliver engaging seminars and participate in groundbreaking research. This role offers you the chance to make a lasting impact on education whilst advancing your own academic career.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Guide and Assess Teacher Candidates: Observe provide feedback and assess teacher candidates during their placements supporting their professional development.
- Collaborate with Educational Partners: Maintain and develop partnerships with schools and early childhood providers ensuring highquality placement opportunities.
- Contribute to Teaching and Research: Deliver relevant subjects participate in curriculum development and engage in scholarly activities to advance the field of education.
- Support Professional Learning: Facilitate workshops and seminars for teacher candidates and mentor teachers promoting best practices in education.
You may be a great fit if:
You are a passionate educator with a PhD in education or a related field possessing strong teaching experience excellent communication skills and the ability to build effective partnerships with educational institutions.
You may also:
- Hold a PhD or Doctoral qualification in education or a related field.
- Have qualifications that meet requirements for professional registration as a teacher.
- Demonstrate a highquality teaching record in initial teacher education.
- Possess strong teamwork skills and the ability to guide sessional staff.
- Show evidence of contributing to curriculum development in teacher education.
- Have experience in brokering and sustaining partnerships with educational institutions.
