Job Description
As a Fixed Income Trader you will:
Manage daily trading within Trust Company portfolios
Perform bond trading portfolio construction research and data analysis
Develop and improve Baird Trust relationships with trading counterparties/brokerdealers
Support Portfolio Managers Trust Administration and Advisors in managing client relationships and portfolios
Conduct credit analysis for various fixed income issuers and assist with Buy Lists
Consistently maintain proper internal controls and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures all applicable SEC IRS Federal and State laws and regulations
Maintain a complete knowledge of and comply with all company and departmental policies procedures and service standards

What we look for:
Four 4 year degree in Business Economics Accounting or Finance
Masters of Finance or MBA preferred
Pursuing or achieved: CFA / CFP / CPA preferred.
23 years of financial services experience
Knowledge of fixed income markets including US Treasury municipal corporate and government agency bonds preferred
Licenses/Certifications:
FINRA (Financial Industry Regulatory Authority) Series 7 Required or ability to obtain.
FINRA (Financial Industry Regulatory Authority) Series 63 65 or 66 required or ability to obtain.
