Job Description: Freelance Interior Designer (MidSenior Level) Outside IR35
Location: Central London
Duration: Until December 20th minimum with potential extension to April/May
Commitment: Fulltime 5 days per week 5 days in office
Project Overview:
I am seeking a talented and experienced freelance Interior Designer to join a team for an exciting project based in Paris. This role will involve working on a hotel renovation focused on four public spaces including bars and restaurants. The position is ideal for a creative designer with strong skills in both 3D and 2D design as well as experience in hospitality environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design : Serve as a main point of contact for the Paris hotel project reporting directly to the Lead Designer and project leads.
- Concept and Design Development: Contribute to the design and development of concepts for one of the public spaces while assisting with updates and refinements for the three spaces already in concept stage.
- Technical Drawings and 3D Modeling: Create detailed AutoCAD drawings and SketchUp models ensuring highquality productionready materials.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with the Lead Designer and communicate project progress effectively coordinating with external resources as needed for CGIs and drawing packs.
- Project Flexibility: Adapt to evolving project needs including the potential for client input and changes to concept designs.
Requirements:
- Experience: Proven experience in hospitality design particularly within bars and restaurants.
- Software Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp is essential.
- Language Skills: Frenchspeaking is a strong advantage but not essential
- Project Management: Ability to work independently on design production managing timelines and deliverables.
Rate: 200 240 DOE (Dependent on experience)
