Role Summary
At MetaPhase we combine bold thinking and cuttingedge technology to solve complex federal challengesand we believe in doing it all with authenticity and heart. As a Cloud/Software Engineering Intern youll join a missionfocused delivery team building secure userfriendly and scalable software solutions for government clients. This is a handson opportunity to grow your technical skills while learning Agile delivery in a realworld consulting environment.
Essential Responsibilities
- Work with the latest AI/ML/LLM technologies to maximize software delivery speed and quality
- Devise solutions using the latest cloud computing platforms and services
- Write test and maintain clean reusable code in modern languages and frameworks (e.g. JavaScript/TypeScript Python Java React
- Support the full stack development including backend APIs frontend web applications microservices and cloudbased tools
- Collaborate with team members by participating in industrystandard Agile practice
- Partner with software developers and UI/UX designers to deliver highquality clientfocused software using the latest DevOps and automation techniques
- Think creatively to troubleshoot issues and contribute to continuous improvement
- Adopt responsible coding practices by generating documentation and building knowledge repositories
Basic Qualifications (Required)
- Currently pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or a related technical discipline
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g. JavaScript Python Java C# Go Rust)
- Familiarity with Git and version control workflows and branching strategies
- Basic understanding of frontend and backend development principles
- Passion for clean code collaboration and making an impact
- U.S. Citizenship is required (NO EXCEPTIONS)
Bonus Points
- Experience with frontend libraries (e.g. React Angular Vue) or backend frameworks (e.g. Flask Spring Boot)
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS Azure or Google Cloud
- Familiarity with Agile development values and principles
- Participation in hackathons open source projects or personal software projects
- Interest in public service and technology in the federal space
