Job Description
Development Manager
Location: Holy Redeemer Catholic School
Reports to: Principal
Holy Redeemer Catholic School is seeking a fulltime missiondriven Development Manager to lead our fundraising donor relations and marketing efforts. This key role is vital to advancing the schools mission and sustaining its impact in the community. The Development Manager will work closely with the Principal to identify fundraising needs and develop annual strategies that include campaigns such as Giving Tuesday yearend appeals alumni giving the Dan Ewald Dinner and seasonal appeals like Lent and Easter. This role involves drafting campaign materials leading strategic planning and managing all phases of fundraisingfrom donor identification to stewardship.
The Development Manager will take a leadership role in guiding staff and board members through fundraising initiatives using data analysis to inform donor engagement strategies and assign cultivation plans for small midlevel and major donors. A strong focus will be placed on organizing and maintaining a comprehensive donor database tracking donation history generating reports and conducting personalized outreach to build and strengthen donor relationships.
In addition to donor relations the Development Manager will oversee the planning and of fundraising events manage grant applications and corporate sponsorships and maintain relationships with community partners. The role also encompasses marketing and communications including creating and managing a content calendar for social media platforms like Facebook Instagram Twitter and LinkedIn. The Development Manager will produce monthly email newsletters and promotional materials to enhance school visibility and highlight the impact of donor contributions.
Qualified candidates will have a minimum of two years experience in fundraising development marketing or event planning preferably within a nonprofit or educational setting. Strong communication and relationshipbuilding skills experience with CRM systems and the ability to manage multiple projects independently are essential.
