Job Description
Kardinal Hall in Charlottesville VA is looking for one experience highvolume bartender to join our 50 person strong team. We are located on 722 Preston Ave Ste 101. Our ideal candidate is a selfstarter punctual and hardworking.
Benefits

- Starting base pay of $5 an hour. Raise to $8 with Cicerone Certified Beer Server and Virginia ABC RSVP certificate. Required within 60 days on hire. KH will reimburse fees and provide study materials.
- Shift meal and drink with every shift.
- Front of house tip pool. Averages $33$38 an hour. Weekly pay.
Responsibilities
- Prepare alcohol or nonalcohol beverages
- Interact with customers take orders and serve snacks and drinks
- Assess customers needs and preferences and make recommendations
- Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails
- Plan and present bar menu
- Check customers identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
- Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
- Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
- Comply with all food and beverage regulations
Qualifications
- Weekend availability a must: Friday Saturday Sunday. Additional shifts may be available depending on weekly business needs and personal availability.
- Proven working experience as a bartender and beer knowledge.
- Excellent knowledge of in mixing garnishing and serving drinks
- Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
- Ability to keep the bar organized stocked and clean
