The National Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation (NACCHO) is the national peak body for 146 Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Services (ACCHSs) delivering holistic communitydriven primary health care across Australia.
We work with governments and stakeholders to reform health systems focusing on chronic disease mental health social and emotional wellbeing and the cultural determinants of health. This is a powerful moment for reform and NACCHO is at the forefrontespecially in Closing the Gap.
About the Role
As Communications Officer Aged Care youll be a key part of the Communications and Stakeholder Engagement team leading strategies to promote NACCHOs Elder Care Support (ECS) Program and other aged care initiatives.
Funded by the Department of Health and Aged Care and delivered by 107 Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisations the ECS Program supports older Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people their families. Youll work closely with NACCHOs Aged Care Programs team and external stakeholders to deliver culturally responsive engaging communications that make a real impact.
