About Chileda:
Chiledas mission is to improve the quality of life for individuals with cognitive and behavioral challenges. We do this by fostering independence promoting community engagement and helping our residents thrive in a safe and loving environment.
The Role Youll Play:
As a FullTime Weekend Caregiver youll work Friday Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM supporting our residents to live fulfilling lives. From teaching independent living skills to facilitating fun community outings youll help our residents gain confidence and independence every day.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Resident Supervision: Ensure the safety and wellbeing of residents creating a caring and fun environment.
- Personal Care Support: Assist with activities of daily living including bathing grooming and hygiene ensuring dignity and respect.
- Medication Management: Administer medications and keep accurate records.
- Community Outings: Accompany residents to exciting activities in the community building social skills and enhancing their quality of life.
- Meal Prep & Cooking: Help prepare meals teach cooking skills and make mealtimes enjoyable and educational.
- Crisis Management: Use deescalation techniques and support residents through challenging moments with patience and empathy.
Compensation & Benefits:
- $3/hour weekend shift differential for Saturdays and Sundays.
- $1 pay increases at 6 months and 12 months to reward your dedication and hard work.

What Were Looking For:
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years old.
- Experience: Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus but well provide training for the right person!
- Drivers License: A valid drivers license is required for community outings.
- Personality: Were looking for energetic compassionate and patient individuals who thrive in a dynamic handson environment.
- Cooking Skills: While you dont need to be a chef some cooking skills will make mealtime even more fun!
