Job Description

Description

The Department of Computing Science requires sessional instructor(s) to teach on a contract basis Mobile Application Development using Android a second year courses in the Summer 2025 semester. The ability to teach in this area would be a definite asset. Other courses may be considered depending on the needs of the Department and the qualifications of the candidate(s).

Duties will include delivering lectures labs and seminars marking assignments tests and examinations. All courses have been already developed and offered on a regular basis.

Requirements
  • Minimum of a masters degree in computing science or closely related area is required.
  • A PhD in computing science or closely related area is preferred.
  • Ability to teach undergraduate students is required.
  • Prior universitylevel teaching experience in computing science and evidence of excellence in teaching (teaching dossier teaching evaluations etc. is preferred.
  • Fluency in English (spoken and written) is required.
