You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailReporting to the Senior Manager Payroll Operations the Manager Payroll Data and Systems (the Manager) proactively manages payroll data and systems throughout the year ensuring that the company payroll expense is recorded accurately for financial reporting and employee data is protected and maintained for yearend government reporting.
The incumbent performs internal functional and compliance testing of tax updates pay system upgrades and changes. The Manager will provide operational support for department initiatives as assigned by the Senior Manager supporting system enhancement projects new policies/procedures and by recommending improvements.
The incumbent leads yearend activities and processes related to T4A (student vendor nonresident) and ensures payroll system rollover for each new calendar year. They are responsible for yearend bulk loads related to pension and dental coverage.
This leader will supervise the Payroll Coordinator position 2 and the successful candidate will be proficient in all specialist and coordinator duties including ROE processing.
