Job Description

Process Control Engineer (DCS)
Houston TX
Description:

The role is for an onsite dedicated Process Control Engineer at a medium sized chemical plant. The site manufactures specialty chemicals and solvents through a mostly continuous process with some batch processing as well. This plant uses a Honeywell Experion DCS. The responsibilities include programming of the controls providing daytoday unit support system upgrades including the virtualization project underway and managing projects. Youll have the opportunity to wear multiple hats and serve as the primary point of contact for process controls at the site. This job is direct hire with an expanding engineering firm with full benefits and reap the rewards as the firm expands. The salary and bonus will be tailored to a candidates experience level.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in chemical or electrical engineering with five plus years 5 years of in plant experience out of any chemical plant with any type of DCS controls with Honeywell Experion being ideal but not necessary
  • Pluses would be experience with power distribution motors maintenance and instrumentation.
