A partner hospital located in Montgomery AL is seeking a fulltime Associate Veterinarian to join its multidoctor small animal practice. This is an excellent opportunity for a veterinarian interested in working with both small animals and exotics in a practice equipped with advanced technology including endoscopy and ultrasound. The clinic offers customizable work schedules and promotes worklife balance with shortened Saturday hours and a daily hourlong lunch break.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional care to patients and clients with a relationshipbased approach
- Collaborate with the clinical team and leadership to ensure a positive and productive work environment
- Build and maintain strong relationships within the practice and the local Montgomery community
- Support the growth and development of support staff through the clinics internal LevelUp training program
- Manage a varied caseload including performing surgeries and appointments during open hours
- Consult with clients to educate them on their pets health and provide treatment plans
Skills Knowledge and Expertise:
- DVM/VMD degree from an AVMAaccredited college (or successful completion of the ECFVG or PAVE program)
- Active license in good standing to practice in the state of Alabama (or ability to obtain licensure)
- Strong ability to provide comprehensive veterinary care with a focus on both small animal and exotic species
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients and the team
- A commitment to providing highquality compassionate care to animals
