Cloud Engineer (EXTERNAL) (m/f/d)

About the Job
The product Customer Data is looking for a Cloud Engineer. This Team is responsible for a customer data platform which consolidates data from marketing data sources and prepares the data for activation in different marketing channels (e.g. social media). Furthermore the data is used for analytical purposes.
What you will do:
- As part of the team you are responsible to maintain and extend our customer data platform based on different GCP services (e.g. Dataflow Cloud Functions). The platform development is based on Python and Terraform furthermore you will work with SQL related technologies like Google BigQuery and Snowflake.
- Design programming unittesting (Pytest) quality assurance and documentation
- Code responsibility from the very beginning until production environment
- Work closely together in an agile team with members located in Germany and Spain (team language will be English)
What you will bring:
- Act as software developer (hands on) in your latest project
- Several years of Python programming experience
- Knowledge of google cloud platforms (GCP) and willingness to continue growing in this area
- Experience using version control (GIT) software development Kafka /PubSub and Docker
- Knowledge of Terraform
- Experience using Apache Beam with Dataflow
- Interest or experience in being part of agile teams (Scrum)
- Strong verbal and written skills in English
- Agile mindset
- Knowledge of Clean code principles
- You live in Spain and you have a valid work permit/VISA (without sponsorship)
Nice to have:
- Knowledge of Cloud Build
- Knowledge in Java
- Snowflake / BigQuery
- Willingness to work on user storie
