About Our Client
Our client is a certified woman owned small business established in 2015 in Columbia MD. They specialize in cyber security operations and engineering software development data science and analytic development security engineering risk management and cloud migration. The Role
We are seeking an experienced AWS Cloud Engineer to join their team. In this role you will design deploy and manage secure and scalable cloud infrastructure for nextgeneration products. Youll be responsible for engineering cloudbased applications developing strategic implementation plans and automating security infrastructure using tools like Terraform and Ansible. The environment is fastpaced and requires flexibility. Strong Python and Linux skills cloud networking knowledge and the ability to work autonomously and collaboratively are essential. Experience with DoD security guidelines (SCCA/CC SRG) and AWS certifications are preferred. The position is hybrid requiring 34 days onsite in Ft. Meade or Columbia MD. Base compensation ranges from 165k to 275k with a compelling benefits package.
What Youll Bring
BS and 9 years Cloud Engineering (MS7
3 years with AWS Azure etc.
Python scripting Linux command line proficiency.
Experience with Terraform AWS Config Ansible etc.
Strong understanding of cloud networking best practices.
Excellent oral and written skills with the ablility to work with architects on strategic changes and improvements.
Preferred: AWS Certifications and experience with DoD SCCA and DoD CC SRG.
Clearance Requirements
US Citizenship and an active TS/SCI clearance. Please note you MUST have the required clearance for consideration (uncleared or undercleared applicants will not receive a response).
Location
Hybrid schedule 34 days per week onsite) in Columbia MD or Ft. Meade MD
