Job Description
An enthusiastic and dedicated teacher is required to join a dynamic and forwardthinking academy in the heart of Brent North West London. This is a permanent fulltime position commencing in September teaching both Geography to Key Stage 3 and Religious Education to Key Stages 3 and 4. The successful candidate will inspire a curiosity about the world and a thoughtful engagement with diverse beliefs.
Responsibilities
- Plan prepare and deliver engaging Geography lessons to students in Key Stage 3.
- Plan prepare and deliver engaging Religious Education lessons to students in Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Foster stimulating learning environments that encourage geographical inquiry and respectful dialogue about beliefs.
- Assess and monitor student progress in both Geography and Religious Education providing effective feedback to support their learning.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Demonstrated experience teaching Geography and Religious Education at the secondary level.
- Strong subject knowledge in key geographical concepts relevant to KS3 and a range of religious beliefs and ethical frameworks relevant to KS34.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills capable of motivating and engaging young learners in both subject areas.
