Job Description
Music Teacher Kingston Secondary School
An Outstanding secondary school in Kingston is seeking a passionate and talented Music Teacher to join their Music department. This is a fulltime permanent position teaching across Key Stages 3 4 and potentially Key Stage 5.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and inspiring Music lessons.
- Teach a range of musical styles and genres.
- Develop students practical musicianship skills (instrumental and/or vocal).
- Foster an understanding of music theory and history.
- Contribute to extracurricular music activities (e.g. choirs bands orchestras) desirable but not essential.
- Teach at an Outstanding school.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- A degree in Music or a related field.
- Proven experience teaching Music at the secondary level.
- Proficiency in at least one instrument or voice.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- A passion to teach Music
