Job Description
WesternSchool District is currently seeking a full time Elementary Music Teacher.
Date Posted:
- August 6 2025
Position Available:
- Full time position as an elementary music teacher. Teacher is responsible for delivering music education to grades Young 5s through 5th grade.
Qualifications:
- A valid Michigan Teaching Certificate
- An endorsement in Music Education (JX or JQ)
Additional Expectations:
- Ability to connect withelementary school students
- Actively participate in a PLC
- Have specific subject area knowledge
- Communicate with students families staff etc. on a regular basis
- Excellent communication public relations and interpersonal skills
- Strong ability to problem-solve and seek creative solutions
Starting Date:
- August 18 2025: Start of the 2025-26 school year.
