Job Description
An enthusiastic and knowledgeable Psychology Teacher is sought by a wellregarded Independent coeducational school in Barnet. The successful candidate will inspire students in Key Stage 5 with the fascinating world of psychology fostering their understanding of human behaviour and mental processes.
Responsibilities
- Plan prepare and deliver engaging Psychology Teacher lessons to students in Key Stage 5 (ALevel).
- Develop students understanding of key psychological theories research methods and ethical considerations.
- Foster a stimulating and analytical learning environment that encourages critical thinking and discussion.
- Assess and monitor student progress in Psychology providing insightful feedback to support their academic development.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Psychology.
- Demonstrated experience teaching Psychology at the ALevel.
- A strong academic background in Psychology and a passion for the subject.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills capable of making complex psychological concepts accessible to students.
