Your Role
As an Art Teacher at our school you will:
Teach engaging and inspiring Art lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 providing students with opportunities to explore diverse artistic techniques and media
Foster both technical skill development and creative confidence in your students
Collaborate with a dedicated department team to plan and deliver a dynamic curriculum
Use assessment and feedback to guide student progress and celebrate their achievements
Encourage students to get involved in extracurricular activities such as art clubs exhibitions and schoolwide creative events
Create an environment where all learners feel motivated and supported to develop their artistic abilities
What Were Looking For
We are looking for an experienced Art Teacher who:
Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and has proven experience teaching Art at secondary level
Has a degree in Art Fine Art or Art & Design with a strong portfolio and a deep understanding of visual arts practice
Is passionate about making Art accessible and engaging for all students and able to challenge them to reach their full potential
Demonstrates strong communication organisational and classroom management skills
Is eager to contribute to a supportive creative school community and collaborate with colleagues to drive student success
