Job Description
An enthusiastic and creative Art Teacher is required to join an Outstanding Mixed school in Enfield. The successful candidate will inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4 to develop their artistic skills creativity and appreciation for a variety of art forms.
Responsibilities
- Plan prepare and deliver engaging Art Teacher lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Develop students skills in a range of artistic techniques including drawing painting and sculpture.
- Assess and monitor student progress in Art providing constructive feedback to guide their development.
- Contribute to the enrichment of the schools artistic environment through displays and extracurricular activities.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Art and Design.
- Demonstrated experience teaching Art at the secondary level (Key Stages 3 & 4.
- Strong subject knowledge across a range of artistic disciplines and historical contexts.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills capable of fostering a love of Art in students.
