Job Description
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements reports and documentation in accordance with university policies and relevant accounting standards.
- Record monitor and reconcile transactions in the general ledger.
- Support accounts receivable and accounts payable processing including tuition and fees billing supplier payments and reimbursements.
- Conduct regular bank and account reconciliations.
- Assist in budget monitoring expense tracking and financial forecasting.
- Support internal and external audit requirements through preparation and organization of needed documents.
- Help maintain an accurate filing system for financial records and reports.
- Coordinate with academic and administrative departments on financialrelated inquiries and requirements.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of financial systems controls and procedures.
- Perform other accountingrelated duties as may be assigned.
Qualifications:
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA);
- Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or equivalent;
- Open to fresh graduates with strong academic performance and internship experience;
- Proficient in MS Office particularly Excel; familiarity with accounting systems (e.g. QuickBooks SAP Oracle) is an advantage;
- Strong attention to detail analytical skills and organizational abilities;
- Good interpersonal and communication skills;
- High level of integrity and professionalism;
- Eagerness to learn and contribute in a higher education environment.
