JOB TITLE: Finance Officer
LOCATION: Ahiazu Mbaise Imo State (Open to candidates relocating from anywhere in Nigeria)
TYPE OF EMPLOYMENT: Onsite
SALARY BUDGET: 300000 Gross Monthly (Slightly open for negotiaition)
EXPERIENCE LENGTH: At least 3 years
SUMMARY
The role is responsible for endtoend management of financial operations including accounting billing budgeting forecasting and compliance. It involves producing accurate financial reports maintaining financial controls supporting audits and ensuring timely tax and regulatory filings. The ideal candidate should be wellversed in accounting standards financial systems and reporting tools with strong analytical leadership and communication skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee various accounting operations.
Manage Billing Accounts Receivables Accounts Payables Cost Accounting Inventory.
Accounting and Revenue Recognition.
Identify accounting and financial issues and suggest timely solutions.
Support monthend and yearend close process.
Manage quality control over financial transactions and reporting.
Manage the budgeting and forecasting.
Produce financial statements as requested.
Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting.
Manage and comply with local state and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
Develop and adhere to policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Outstanding knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
- Experience with creating financial statements and general ledgers.
- Sound practical knowledge of any accounting software and Spreadsheets.
- Critical thinker and problemsolving skills.
- Team player.
- Good timemanagement skills.
- Great interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience in implementing financial control systems.
- Professional qualifications such as CPA or CMA will be considered an advantage.
