Job Description
RecruitNet International Ltd specialises in Healthcare recruitment for Domestic and Overseas candidates for Hospitals Nursing Homes Home care and Community care.
We are hiring Orthopaedic Registrar to a leading Hospital in .
Responsibilities
- To assist the orthopaedic consultants in their work and operate as an agent under the orthopaedic consultants supervision when providing an orthopaedic service.
- To evaluate and register patients from the Emergency Room
- To accompany the orthopaedic staff on daily visits to the ward.
- To regularly examine patients in compliance with the attending consultants treatment plan and report any concerns or issues to the consultant.
- Timely and record review results in clinical notes.
- To perform assigned duties in the Operating Room.
- To take care of pre and postoperative tasks.
- To write orders as needed for laboratories and radiology for example.
- To write discharge reports and discharge patients by consultant directions.
- To react to any unfavourable events such as injuriessudden illnesses etc suffered by patients visitors or staff.
Requirements
- MRCS or a comparable program.
- Complete Irish Medical Council Registration currently.
- It is preferred to be an RCSI member.
- A minimum of one years experience working as a registrar in an acute hospital.
- Knowledge and Skills Particular to the Job
- Desirable to be certified in BLS
