Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior SDET with strong leadership and management skills to join our growing engineering team. In this role you will play a critical part in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products by leading and mentoring a team of SDETs. You will be responsible for designing and implementing comprehensive test strategies automating test suites and driving continuous improvement in our testing processes.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of SDETs providing guidance support and career development opportunities.
- Design develop and execute comprehensive test plans and strategies for complex software systems.
- Develop and maintain automated test suites using various testing frameworks and tools (e.g. Selenium JUnit TestNG Appium).
- Perform functional regression integration and performance testing.
- Conduct thorough code reviews and provide constructive feedback to developers.
- Analyze test results identify and report bugs and track them to resolution.
- Collaborate closely with development product management and other stakeholders to ensure product quality.
- Drive continuous improvement in testing processes and methodologies.
- Stay abreast of the latest testing tools technologies and industry best practices.
- Contribute to the overall success of the engineering team by fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
Qualifications :
- 5 years of experience as an SDET or Software Engineer with a strong focus on testing.
- 2 years of experience leading and mentoring a team of engineers.
- Strong experience in designing and implementing automated test frameworks and suites.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g. Java Python C# JavaScript).
- Experience with testing methodologies (e.g. Agile Scrum BDD).
- Experience with testing tools and technologies (e.g. Selenium JUnit TestNG Appium Jenkins Git).
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Passion for quality and a strong desire to learn and grow.
Bonus Points:
- Experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g. AWS Azure GCP).
- Experience with performance and security testing.
- Experience with mobile application testing.
- Experience with test data management.
