Job Description
- Extruder Relief Utility will perform duties of extruder operator and processing crew member. This position may relieve for breaks and/or step in to operator to cover call offs and vacations. All positions will work rubber through extruding lines ensuring correct tolerance of tread and overall quality is met. Changeovers will occur as needed.
- This position requires a high degree of team work and communication.
- Read specifications use hand tools gauging devices and statistical process control to setup and monitor current and outgoing product quality
- Occasional use of walkies tugger and forklifts when necessary
- Frequent stooping bending twisting and walking long distances climbing of stairs/ladders and lifting/carrying up to 5070 lbs.
Qualifications :
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2 years of manufacturing experience preferred; 01 year of manufacturing experience will be considered
- No relocation assistance is offered for this position
ENVIRONMENT
- Safety is our highest priority and safety procedures/ guidelines must be always adhered to. This includes safety wear such as hearing protection and steel toe shoes.
- New Hires will likely be placed on a shift that includes evenings and weekends.
- The job is within a nonclimate controlled environment where you will be exposed to temperature swings (hot/cold) forklift and pedestrian traffic and noise.
- The role involves various physical tasks including lifting bending stooping pushing pulling and operating machinery with comprehensive training provided.

HOURLY PAY
- The hourly rate for this position is $28.44 $30.08 per hour. This position is also eligible for a quarterly incentive program.
- This role will be eligible for shift differential which is added onto your hourly rate. The additional shift differential is $0.20 per hour for evening shifts $0.40 per hour for overnight shifts and $1.00 per hour for weekend shifts.
- Pay rate is based upon candidate skills experience and qualifications as well as market and business considerations.
