You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThe Cape Breton Regional Hospital is seeking emergency medicine physicians to provide locum coverage during ongoing recruitment.
New locum physicians are kept on protected shifts (mostly triplecoverage sometimes doublecoverage) and will not be placed on 6am or 10pm due to single coverage periods during those shifts.
Compensation is provided by the service and locum physicians are eligible to access the travel elements of the program including reimbursement for kilometrage per diems accommodations (up to $300 per night) and airfare (up to $1500 along with travel time up to 10 hours per week. Licensing fees for CPSNS are covered and locum physicians may claim Facility On Call fees under specific conditions.
